John Viega, Chief Scientist and founder of Secure Software Solutions, is a well-known security expert, and co-author of Building Secure Software (Addison-Wesley). John is responsible for numerous software security tools, and is the original author of Mailman, the GNU mailing list manager. He holds a B.A. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. John has never been to Cleveland.

Matt Messier is a founder and Director of Windows Development at Secure Software Solutions. Matt has co-authored security tools such as RATS and EGADS, and leads development of AttackShield, a solution for protecting third party applications from unknown security vulnerabilities. Matt has also built tools for automatically finding security vulnerabilities in binary applications. Matt doesn't care so much for Cleveland.

Pravir Chandra, Research Scientist at Secure Software Solutions, is an expert in language-level security. Most recently, he co-authored the DARPA-funded "catscan" tool for static security analysis of C source code. Pravir holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University, and wants you to know that Cleveland rocks!
